Our Architecturally designed Head Office is based at Arundel on the Gold Coast, with multiple companies and branches located throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
Due to the company experiencing immense growth, we are looking for a Management Accountant to become a core member of the Finance Team. You will be a qualified Accountant who strives for excellence and can put innovative ideas into action.

About the role
In your new role, you will draw from previous experience and be responsible for tasks such as;
Preparation, analysis and distribution of monthly management reports
Ensuring accurate Workpapers support Management Financials
Preparation of Year End financial statements
Preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS and other statutory/ taxation obligations
Maintain the fixed asset register including calculating and journaling of depreciation
Provision of variance analysis and commentary on financial trends
Attendance to transactional tasks where necessary, including accounts payable, payroll and treasury functions
Review Compliance – Payroll Tax, Superannuation and WorkCover, Insurance as examples
Ensure transaction workpapers and EOM deadlines are met to the highest standard
Preparation of Cashflow Forecasts and Statements in order to manage current and future requirements
Provide commentary on Actual vs Budgets report
Relevant tertiary qualifications with strong technical accounting knowledge
CPA/CA qualified (desirable)
Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Financial or management Accountant
Strong understanding of corporate taxation, eg FBT, Corporate Income Tax
Experience in Cashflow forecasting/modelling (highly desirable)
Technically minded and the ability to problem solve
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, as well as positively contribute to a team
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Accountability and the capability to work to strict deadlines
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong computer skills including MS Office products and use of ERP experience (NetSuite highly desirable)
We are looking for a Management Accountant who has a strong commercial accounting background and can provide accounting support to the CFO whilst working closely with our Finance team.
