About Us

For several years Buildsafe has successfully provided safety systems and solutions within the building and construction space.

The majority of our products are designed in house and hold exclusivity within the marketplace, involving; Platform, Scaffold and Guardrail systems.

With Branches based in Victoria and Queensland and still growing, Buildsafe has expanded into the N.S.W market with our first branch opening in Newcastle in 2015, and expansion into the Sydney market in 2016.

This position will see you come on board at a ground level and drive new business, while account managing existing. Ideally based in Sydney you will work across both Sydney and Newcastle regions. Therefore regular travel is required, Monday to Friday visiting clients, and prospecting new opportunities.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a well-established client portfolio with expectation strong emphasis on business development and customer growth. You are responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships; identify and grow existing business, whilst pursuing new business.

In the position of Account Manager, you will work closely with all areas of the business to ensure a high level of service and full comprehension of our services on offer here at Buildsafe.

You will have a strong understanding of the Business development process, including identifying & developing prospects and existing opportunities, along with quote preparations, reading construction plans & drawings, right through to proposal, presentation and closing a sale.

This role will see you in both Sydney and Newcastle Branches, whilst completing onsite visits to existing and prospective clientele.

This is an autonomous role requiring self-management to achieve monthly/annual sales targets.

Ideally, you will have a proven background in the construction industry or trade services sector.

Along with your excellent communication skills and natural ability to engage and influence customers, you will be passionate and self-driven to provide a high level of service at all times.
